Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to cities located in the San Fernando Valley.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, it is best to reserve your jumper as soon as you know the date of your event and the equipment you desire. Our units are very popular and sometimes are booked weeks in advance.
How do I make a reservation?
You can contact us at (818)988-9580 and (818)429-4027 [receives texts] or at [email protected] We will need the following information before you make your reservation: city of your event, event location (home or park), date of event to check the availability of the equipment you wish to rent. In order to complete your reservation, please provide the following: name of order, two phone numbers to contact you, desired time of delivery and pickup time.
Do you deliver at parks?
Yes, however it will be your responsibility to obtain a permit from the park in order for us to set up the jumpers. You will first need to contact the Department of Recreation and Parks in the city you will be having your party to obtain your permit. Inform them that Blue Star Jumpers will be providing your jumper. If the customer has not obtain a permit, park ranger would requiere the jumper to be pick up during the event. Park jumper rentals require generator for power. We have generators available starting at $50.
Do you provide water for a water slide?
No, we do not. You are responsible for providing your own water sources. Blue Star jumpers doesn't provide the water house. Water units can not be set up at parks since park don't provide a water supply and water hose for their guess.
Can I pick the time that you deliver and pick up?
Yes, please let us know your desired time of delivery and pickup. If your desired times are not available we will try to schedule a time as close to that as possible. We deliver as early as you want and we pick up the unit the same day.
What is the latest pickup time?
Our latest pickup for our inflatables on Saturday is 8:00-8:30 pm and on Sunday/Weekdays 8:00 pm.
What if I want a later pick-up time?
If you would like to keep our equipment for longer we ask that you communicate with us ahead of time, at least 2 hours in advance, so we can accommodate your event needs. If our drivers have already arrived but you would like extra time with our equipment we need to charge an extra fee because our drivers need to return a second time.
Is a deposit, payment in advance or credit card required to make a reservation?
No, payment is due at time of deliver (cash only)
Are the jumpers clean?
Yes! At Blue Star Jumpers we take hygiene very seriously. We inspect, clean, and sanitize our equipment after every use.
Are the jumpers safe?
Yes, the jumpers are safe, but like any fun activity, you must use precautions. Never climb on the outside of the jumpers, do not jump on the sides of the sides of the jumper, never take any sharp or other objects in the jumper. Do not do flips or jump above other people. No food, drinks, candy, silly string or gum inside the jumper.
How do the jumpers stay inflated?
The jumpers begin to inflate when the blower is plugged in and turned on. The blower must always stay on for the jumper to remain inflated. Providing adequate electricity is solely the Customer's responsibility. Customer must make sure there is an adequate number of electrical outlets with sufficient power to keep the unit working properly. If there are no electrical outlets available at the setup location (i.e. parks, fields, parking lots), then a generator will be required. We have generators available starting at $40.
Is there a delivery charge?
Jumper delivery is free within most San Fernando Valley areas (some exceptions apply). If you are ordering tables, chairs, tents, or concessions without an inflatable then a delivery charge is applicable.
What type of power is required?
Standard household current (110 volts). We provide one 50ft. extension cord, if needed. If there are no electrical outlets available or within 50ft., then a generator is required. Please let us know in advance if the setup site is further than 25 feet from the outlet.
Do you deliver and set up the inflatables?
Yes, we handle the delivery, setup and pick up for all our inflatables and canopies, however, delivery of tables and chairs is only curbside delivery.
What is "curbside delivery"?
"Curbside delivery" is strictly a drop-off of the items to the address requested. Setup of tables and chairs is the responsibility of the renting party. We ask that you prepare the items for pick-up just as they were dropped off; that is to say, the chairs and tables should be folded and put away as they were dropped off.
Can the delivery personnel setup tables and chairs?
When delivering tables and chairs, Blue Star Jumpers doesn't set them up, we simply stack them in the area you request. After use, the tables and chairs should be stacked prior our drivers arrival for pick up.
How long does it take to set up the jumper?
It takes about 15-30 minutes to set up and 30-45 minutes to take down.
What type of surface can the jumper be put on?
A grassy area is preferable, but the jumpers can be put on cement or dirt. We provide a tarp, if required. Please let us know what surface you wish to have the inflatables setup so we can provide the proper equipment for setup. We do not setup our inflatables at second-floor patios, near pools, or above stairs. The setup location should be cleared from sharp objects, animal feces, or any other substance that can damage the equipment. There should be no low hanging tree branches or powerlines overhead.
How much room do I need for the jumper?
Each jumpers varies in size. Inflatable rentals require an extra space of 2 feet per side [width, length, height].
Do we rent concession machines?
Yes, our snow cone and popcorn machines come with accessories needed for 50 servings. Note: The snow cone machine rental does not include ice. It is recommended to have 25-35 pounds of ice for every 50 servings. Our driver will instructing the customer on the proper operation of your concession rental.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, we require you to give us at least a 24-hour notice, at no extra charge, before your event date. Please understand we have set aside your items especially for your reservation.
What if it is rainy or windy?
You must cancel the jumper prior to our driver actually leaving for delivery (we recommend at least 2 hours prior to your event), otherwise, there will be a delivery cancellation charge ($20 - $50) applied. Blue Star Jumpers reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to heavy rains or high winds (over 25 mph). If the date of your event has "bad" weather, we will contact you the morning of your event to confirm the reservation. At that time you have the option of canceling your order. Should you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the unit is delivered, there will be no refunds should the weather conditions consist of heavy rains or high winds. In the event that it does rain during your rental period. Exit the ride, but leave it in operation. You can reenter the ride after it has completely dried. To speed up this process an adult can dry it with a towel. If winds exceed 25 MPH the unit must be emptied and deflated.
The Customer is responsable for supervising the safety and conduct of all participants using Blue Star Jumpers products. There must be a responsable and mature adult supervising the operation of the units at all times. Safety of all of the participants in the units is the responsibility of the person supervising. All units come with safety instructions which are located in the front of the unit , and should be read and understood by any and all the people supervising.
NOTE: Additional fees may be incurred by any damage caused by the use of silly string, food or other items not allowed in units.
